Drum roll please. Today’s Friday feature is the one and only Laura Bazzi. Laura, my beautiful Italian babe. She’s spunky, smart, and so creative. I met her through the LUMES program (surprise). We oftentimes make dinner together and go for walks and mini hikes. Most recently, we shared a Make and Mend event together. On Wednesdays we go to Make and Mend, a weekly program sponsored Hållabart Universitet to promote fixing your stuff and being more sustainable! Woohoo. Anyway, on Wednesday, we worked together on a fun craft project. She’s so artsy and I loved her help! Look at this model photo below!

What brought you to Sweden?
I have always been attracted to Scandinavian countries for their beautiful landscapes and architecture - design features but my passion for sustainability is definitely the main reason why I chose Sweden as the place for my studies.
How did you meet Julia?
I met her on the very first day at Lumes although we only got to know each other better in the following weeks and especially in Breanäs, during the 3-day trip with the class.
What do you like to do on a daily basis back home or here in Lund.
I like to spend as much time as possible with friends and outdoors so I always try to balance these two things even here in Sweden and also carve out personal moments such as reading, singing and cooking!
What are your life goals and aspirations?
I don't think I have future goals yet as I don't know what I will do in the future, but I certainly want to pursue the passions I am already cultivating and add new ones related to a sustainable lifestyle.

Would you rather be forced to sing along or dance to every single song you hear?
I would rather be forced to sing!! I'm terrible at dancing 🤣
Sunrises or sunsets? For sure sunsets!
That’s all for today. Enjoy this SUNNY day in Sweden! Laura, thanks so much for taking the time to be my Friday Feature today.
